Über Alima
My main goal of teaching is to create a friendly and fun atmosphere, so that student can learn a new hard language without any stress. Even as a native speaker, I can imagine how hard it can get :)
I was born and raised in Post-USSR (Russian-speaking country). In school I was participating in Russian language competitions, getting prize-winning places and later did a lot of debate championships.

My main goal of teaching is to create a friendly and fun atmosphere, so that student can learn a new hard language without any stress. Even as a native speaker, I can imagine how hard it can get :)
- In the beginning, we determine your focuses - some people want to study exclusively formal Russian, some people want to focus mainly on speaking, some need additional help with Grammar - if needed, I can always allocate the lesson according to your needs.
- I am used to teach people with absolutely no Russian knowledge, starting from the alphabet, to people that already have some knowledge and want to improve their Russian overall.
- I usually give students a plenty of easy stuff to read and try to make them write as much as possible. Every grammar rule is being written on a special worksheet by topic. After learning a new rule, we are trying to build a dialogue or phrases using this rule. To improve listening, we watch cuts from cartoons or russian movies without and then with subtitles.
- Duration of a lesson is 1 hour, but we can always discuss it.
- In the beginning of every lesson we are having a small talk in Russian about the past few days.
