We’ve spent time on the fundamentals, classic positions, and, especially, recognizing tactical patterns. One thing I really appreciate is how much she focuses on speed—training my eye to spot tactics quickly, not just eventually figure them out. That’s already starting to carry over into my games.

Her teaching style is straightforward, easy to follow, and very practical. No fluff—just clear explanations, good examples, and useful feedback. The homework and practice suggestions she gives are also spot-on, and I can tell they’re helping me make real progress.

All in all, I feel like I’m on a solid path to improving my rating, and that’s exactly what I was hoping for when I started. I’m very happy with the lessons and would definitely recommend Suzanna to anyone serious about getting better at chess.

She also gives interesting facts about the game, where it came from, how/why it developed, etc. Her way of teaching was different than many of the other teachers in a way that feels exciting and like im in good hands. would rate 11/10 if i could!
