Über Miles
Fusion World-Music Guitarist.
Born in San Diego California and raised in Hawaii, Miles has studied classical guitar and contemporary music since childhood. His musical experiences have ranged both from performing and recording Reggae, Blues, Rock, Pop, Metal, Afro and World Beat to accompanying Jazz bands and classical ensembles. Miles continues his musical career and studies of Classical-Flamenco guitar in Europe where he has been living and teaching for the past ten years. Teacher since the age of seventeen.

I'm a native English speaker from Hawaii and I have experience teaching English in the Czech Republic for over ten years. I've worked with children teaching for Wattsenglish and conversation business english in Brno. I teach a mixture of grammar, engaging speaking activities, and various conversation topics.
I love teaching English because it allows me to meet new people from all over the world, learn about their culture and have interesting conversations. I try to make my lessons fun and engaging while also challenging the students with critical thinking. Along with working through textbooks I make learning enjoyable with activities like roleplays, comedy, as well as stories, guessing games and sometimes helping the student create their own exercises.
