Über Monika
When it comes to language learning, I believe in the power of practice. Therefore my courses are based on active practicing the English language. How do I do it? I work actively with the texts that are either widely known (songs, literary texts, films) or are about issues that are happening around us and concern us. This way the students can see that grammar is not only dry theory from the books but that it can actually be found everywhere.
I am positive, open minded and professionally engaged. I like being around the students because they have an unfiltered way of thinking which is very helpful in teaching. I am very patient and I take my time while discussing the issues that fall into my student's interests.
When it comes to the adult education, I focus on my students' needs. Often we work on improving their English skills because their work requires it and then I prepare the classes based on the areas my students want to improve.
