About Me: Your Guide to Spanish Fluency & Culture I hold a BA in Spanish Language and Literature and an MA in International Relations, backed by over 10 years of experience as a Spanish tutor. Beyond academic qualifications, my journey with Spanish is deeply personal and extends into the vibrant heart of Hispanic culture. I'm not just a teacher; I live and breathe languages! As a polyglot fluent in 4 languages (with German as my next language to master, having actively learned it for a year now), I understand the joys and challenges of language acquisition firsthand. In fact, learning and teaching languages are my main hobbies – a true passion. My practical experience is vast: I've worked as an interpreter for three Hispanic agencies, bridging communication gaps and gaining invaluable insights into real-world Spanish usage. My professional background also includes roles as a translator for various organizations, including universities, and experience in an international import/export company. This unique blend allows me to infuse our lessons with practical business vocabulary and authentic cultural insights. My immersion in Hispanic culture runs deep: I've had the incredible opportunity to perform in two plays by the renowned Spanish playwright Federico García Lorca – Yerma and Blood Weddings. I also served as the secretary of the Spanish Association at my university, actively promoting cultural exchange. And yes, my love for Hispanic culture even extends to playing Flamenco Guitar!
