Über Ruslan
I hold a PhD in Computational Physics, with degrees from EPFL and ETH Zurich. I have spent 4 years being a university teaching assistant for introductory physics, and over 6 years as a private tutor, teaching mathematics and physics, mainly to IB diploma students. I have also organised intensive revision courses, tailored to the IB diploma programme, with a focus on exam technique.

My main goal is for the student to develop a deep understanding of the subject in question, especially in the age of AI. Learning is best done by doing, hence my lessons are interactive and involve some form of collaborative problem solving, where I accompany the student as he/she solves a particular exercise. If there is a significant theory gap, then the key concepts and their derivation will be presented at the beginning of the class. Any questions are always welcome at any time. I mainly teach IB diploma/A-level and university students.
