Über Danilo
I am a native English speaker (British English), with full primary, secondary and tertiary education completed entirely in English. Having been educated in the UK through the private school system – 15 years – and studied internationally, I am fully fluent and support learners in navigating English as a global language rather than solely a school subject. Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from the Management Centre Innsbruck and a Master’s of Science in Global Sustainable Development from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, both fully taught in English. My academic background allows me to bring structure, clarity and real-world linguistic relevance to my tutoring. I stem from an intercultural and bilingual background and have lived, studied and worked in several European countries. This has provided me with a very strong awareness of international, intercultural and bilingual identities, as well as sensitivity to the linguistic and cultural nuances that often accompany learning and using English in multilingual environments.
I currently work as an Assistant English Teacher at a Montessori school in Vienna and am undergoing the formal Montessori Diploma Training at the Montessori Akademie Österreich. While my lessons are not strictly Montessori-based, they are well-informed by one key principle, namely “following the child / learner”. This entails observing individual needs, interests, pace and subsequently adapting lessons accordingly. I combine this with a clear structure, especially for beginner levels (A0 – B1), to ensure learners of all ages and levels feel heard, supported and challenged. Additionally, I speak German at a C1/C2 level, which can be used as supportive scaffolding when helpful and appropriate, especially for beginners, while maintaining English as the primary language of instruction.

Typical Lesson Structure:
Each lesson follows a calm and focused rhythm:

- Practical application through guided conversation or interactive tasks
- Short reflection and goal-setting
For younger children, lessons are interactive and age-appropriate.
For adults, sessions focus on fluency, clarity and confident expression.
