Über Romeu
I am a Portuguese classical guitarist with more than 15 years of experience playing the instrument. I started learning guitar at the age of 9 and have since performed internationally and won more than 25 prizes in guitar competitions.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar in Lille, France. On the class of Judicael Perroy and Carlo Marchione and I am currently continuing my studies at Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, where I study with Campbell Diamond.
During my career I have had the opportunity to perform in prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and Carnegie Hall in New York after receiving prizes in international competitions.
In addition to performing, I have teaching experience and worked for two years as a guitar teacher at a conservatory in Wasquehal, France. This experience allowed me to work with students of different ages and levels, helping them develop both technical skills and musical expression.
I have also participated in masterclasses with some of the most important guitarists of our time, including Zoran Dukić, Marcin Dylla, Aniello Desiderio, Roland Dyens, Ricardo Gallén, and Joaquín Clerch.

Lessons are adapted to the level and goals of each student.
I teach:
- Beginners who want to start playing guitar
- Intermediate players who want to improve technique
- Students preparing for conservatory exams or competitions
Lessons may include:
- Classical guitar technique
- Musical interpretation
- Reading music
- Practice strategies
- History of the guitar
I teach in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish
Lessons can take place in Linz or online.
My goal is to help students develop solid technique while enjoying music and discovering the expressive possibilities of the classical guitar!
