Über Vladimira
Hi, my name is Vladimira. I am an English teacher with experience in teaching primary school children as well as university students and adults.
Before teaching, I worked in a large international company in project and account management. Before that, I was a flight attendant and a PhD researcher.
I am a friendly, open person, and I get along well with almost everyone. I know how it feels to learn a new language — I learned English myself, and I am currently learning German. I understand that it can be hard, and I want to help people not only with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, but also to feel confident and able to communicate in English at all levels from A0 to C2.
I lived in England before moving to Switzerland, so I also bring knowledge of British culture. I have worked with people of all ages and in different countries.
Outside of teaching, I love travelling, books, meeting new people, tennis and nature.

Being multilingual myself, I have a deep understanding of the challenges English learners face — and that understanding shapes everything about how I teach. I am patient, positive, and highly attuned to each student’s individual difficulties, working with them directly and constructively to overcome obstacles. My lessons are designed to feel personal, even in a group setting, and my students consistently find our sessions both enjoyable and effective.
While English is not my first language, I speak and write at C2 level — which means I bring not only fluency, but also the insight of someone who has mastered the language themselves. That combination of academic expertise, real-world business experience, and genuine empathy makes for a uniquely effective learning partnership.
