Über Eyüp Mert
I was born in Turkey in Istanbul and began my classical guitar studies in 2009. Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to perform solo concerts at various institutions, including the ODTU Classical Guitar Festival, Anadolu University, Kocaeli University, Sakarya University, Yaşar University, and Bilkent University. In 2014, I was honored to receive second prize at the International Lycia Guitar Competition. I have also actively participated in masterclasses with successful guitarists such as Nikita Koshkin, Erdem Sökmen, Roland Dyens, Soner Egesel, Celil Refik Kaya, Pavel Steidl, and Aniello Desidero. In 2012, I was awarded a scholarship to the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Bilkent University, where I continued my studies with Kağan Korad. Besides my passion for classical music, I also enjoy jazz and popular music, and I have participated in various projects, including the rock band Halbuki. Now, I'm studying as a postgraduate student at Mozarteum University.

Hello! I am a conservatory graduate currently pursuing my postgraduate studies at Mozarteum. With a deep passion for music, I have developed expertise in various technical aspects, including reading music notation and tabs, musical expression, and improvisation. Over the years, I have honed my skills not only in classical music but also through performing in different music groups, gaining extensive stage experience in a wide variety of genres.
My journey as a musician has been filled with both academic and real-world experiences, which have allowed me to understand the nuances of musical performance and the importance of artistic expression. Whether it's mastering a classical repertoire or improvising in a band, I bring a deep understanding of how to convey emotion and connect with an audience through music.
I believe that music is a language that transcends barriers, and I am excited to share my accumulated knowledge with you. My lessons are designed to adapt to your unique learning style, whether you are just starting your journey with the guitar or are an advanced player looking to refine your technique and musical expression. Together, we can explore everything from foundational techniques to advanced skills like improvisation and interpretation.
