Über Fabio
I am a post-doctoral researcher in Geometry in Berlin, I previously taught bachelor courses, mainly in Analysis, as well as tutored high school students in many Math topics. I'm looking forward to tutor students in any topic in Mathematics and/or (high school or bachelor level) Physics.
On a different note, I'm Italian, so I would be happy tutoring in that as well, if you are interested. (I don't have any teaching qualifications in Italian, but I obviously know the language very well.)

I believe there's really no general methodology which works with every student, even though there are some common foundations such as giving well structured (and not improvised on the spot) lessons. For this reason, personal tutoring (online or face to face, and even for small groups of few people) offers the perfect occasion to use a taylored strategy for each individual.
Indeed, when tutoring, I usually offer very personalized courses. Depending on the person's needs, these can either be a one time lesson to revise a topic prior to a test or exam, or a more lengthy tutoring activities over more sessions. In the latter case, we would go through together different topics in the subject which creates difficulties for the student, and, depending on the specific doubts he/she has, we would revise the basics of the subject, do guided simple exercises, or attempt some harder problems, to really fix the knowledge of the topic (or even all of these options, one after the other).
